Anonymous numbers are generated for deoxy chatter and
forum by taking apart your network address and adding the four numbers together. This serves
as a rough indicator of identity in order to tell one anonymous user from another while preserving anonymity.
Duplicate anonymous numbers are pretty common, but one is often logged in or not chatting so it's not usually a problem.
