The following information is subject to novelty. See Also: Hyperspace Vedics

This space has been created for the interpolation of Terence McKenna's models regarding novelty and concrescence with traditional Hindu mythology. The intention is to view 'timewave zero' through a mythological lens for the purpose of both perceptual clarity as well as the synthesis of new conceptualizations and relationships.

In ancient hinduism, there is a trinity of anthropomorphized universal attributes, which basically constitute their version of the unified field theory. This trinity includes Brahma (pure creation), Vishnu (preservation), and Shiva (pure destruction.) I believe that these three forces can be reconciled with the primary linguistic terms implemented by Terence McKenna in his models.

Brahma correlates to the Eschaton, and is responsible for 'novelty.' Vishu correlates to the morphogenetic laws, and is responsible for the architectonics of 'habit.' Shiva represents the infinite potential inherent to zero, and is responsible 'entropy' and the capacity for cycles.

In this model, the realm of human experience is dictated by Vishnu. Brahma (The Eschatonic God) may only be reached by a healthy perturbation of circumstance: "...positioned in eternity, all things are somehow coexistent in time or outside of time. All events have already happened. Shamanism is a formal technique for viewing this hyperdimensional object [Brahma] outside of time in a three-dimensional [Vishnu] way, by transecting it many, many times until an entire picture of it emerges. The mushroom evokes a profound planetary consciousness that shows one that history is a froth of artifact production that has appeared in the last ten to fifteen thousand years and spread across the planet very quickly. But mind in human beings precedes the history of technology and goes back into the archaic darkness." -Terence McKenna, The Archaic Revival

These anthropomorphized forces were subsequently filtered through a daoist lens, giving us a spouse or consort for each. To Brahma is Saraswati, the Goddess of knowledge. For Vishnu is Lakshmi, the Goddess of love, beauty and delight. For Shiva is Kali (Parvati) , the Goddess of power, destruction and transformation. These are the three main forms of the Goddess, as Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva are the three main forms of the God. The three Goddesses are often worshipped in their own right as well as along with their spouses.
