Noosphere from nous meaning mind in Greek in relation to a sphere such as the atmosphere. This phenomena is emerging all around us becoming more evident in ways such as the Internet which is ''everywhere all at once'', or at least soon to be. This emergence is transforming everything it comes into interaction with hence in this sence the idea of some field from which this is all emerging very rapidly. The noosphere can be thought of as a layer of the collective, the connective mind if you will. Connective intelligence, collective intelligence, and corrective intelligence all through interaction in this field. To take a deeper look we go back 150 years since the first telegraph wire which has been effecting the human since in numerous drastic ways as well as evolving through constant interaction with the noosphere. There are bits and pieces of you that you did no put there. It is ubiquitous in our culture now that we cannot think about how much of us has been delivered through a medium. How much of what we think of as being true has been delivered through some form of mediation rather than direct experience. Now what is occuring is this line is beginning to blur. All of that mediation is coming through something that today we call a noosphere. A new common ground we did not have before that is dissolving boundaries of all kinds including that of the ego. The cartesian ego we have become all too familiar with from the renaissance is begining to dissolve into the noosphere. This is truly what we make of it and remains in a balanced state between good and evil. What we put in is what we get all collectively get out. '''We''' determine the difference of utopia or dystopia as we lay in between in anticipation of the circle to snap. The noosphere is becoming more and more sensisble as well as much more tangible for people. Perceiving of the noosphere as a very real place even though being entirely made up of electrons is arriving piece by piece. Because we will be sensualizing it and investing it with tangibility the way we think about it will have a real concreteness. The web as we know it does not have that yet. It will be far more emotional and enveloping. One of the beautifes of the telephone is that the voice has the ability to carry emotional mediation. That is hard to do on the Internet. At this point the web is still rather dry in that sense and simply filling with intellectuality. One of the main reasons for this is due to the interfaces used being extremely visual and the eye is very detached and intellectual in many ways. What begins to form in unison is both the dimensions of cyberspace as well as our senses immerging themselves in the pool. We bring in many senses, not just text and that which is read, but space and place, both having a snesuality and emotion that is missing in text or in still images, at least on a broad level. Singing and dance that brings about a trance if you will are two of the most emotional of media because in many ways they are not very mediated. They represent a total connection between body and the emotional being along with your expressiveness. So this path we all know how to crawl down but we will learn to walk and then to run in complete free flowing being from doing. All of these interfaces are very much like languages and words and we are building up our skills of various syntax. As a ''Technologist'', we will do our part, so it is up to you to do yours. The foundation has been poured and now together we all will build the house.
