The Video: Look to the Sky

On May 3rd 2011 a Youtube video was embedded in the page footer of deoxy.org. 36 hours later it had been embedded 11,069 times which sent Youtube lots of traffic! On May 5th Youtube only shows 85 views and embedding was disabled sometime after 24 hours. Other sites routinely embed to earn the video many thousands of views and a link back from Youtube. May 30, 2011: Three weeks later and all of a sudden timelapse video of the VLT and the sky set to music is very popular! This is what happens when a commercial website embeds a video which Youtube does not block nor falsify the statistics for:

This is what happened when deoxy.org embedded a similar (but much better imho) timelapse video of the VLT and the sky set to music three weeks earlier causing it the be viewed over 11,000 times in one day:
